Susan Turner DO

Since graduating from the European School of Osteopathy in 1979, Sue has been in osteopathic practice in West London.
She taught osteopathy in the cranial field at the E.S.O. for twenty years, where she also co-founded and directed the undergraduate childrens’ clinic, from 1989 – 2000. She was a founder member of the Osteopathic Centre for Children in London, where she worked for four years. Since 1986 she has taught on postgraduate cranial osteopathy courses first, of the B.S.O. and then the S.C.T.F. and has played an active role in the development of the Sutherland Cranial College since its inception.
Since 1995, following personal tuition from Anne Wales D.O., she set up postgraduate courses, with a group of colleagues, in WG Sutherland’s Approach to the Body, applying the principle of Balanced Ligamentous Tension. She teaches internationally, including USA and Australia and since 1997 she has coordinated the cranial and paediatric component of the E.S.O.’s Russian osteopathic training programme. She has also worked in India in an osteopathic clinic for Tibetan refugees and contributed to a textbook on Paediatric Osteopathy.
